So much for my plan to head up to the Algonquin region April 21 to 24....as of today still 12 inches of ice on Canoe Lake!http://www.canoelake.ca/iceout/ , ! Time to open the maps and start researching an alternative I guess!

<br>i was wondering if anyone here had a good trial / camp/ canoe trip around the area of algonquin ?.... maybe similar to hte barron canyon... its a father, son and lab moment, and i want something really special filled with nature, great fishing ( catch and release ) and great scenic canoe trips.. can anyone help me map out a great week trip ?

Hi Emidio...I haven't had much opportunity to spand a full week paddlin in Algonquin PP...usually just 2 or 3 day trips and base camps. Head over to <a href="http://www.outdooradventure.ca " target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.outdooradventure.ca </a>or <a href="http://www.waterwalker.ca " target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.waterwalker.ca </a>or <a href="http://www.myccr.com " target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.myccr.com </a>and post your question...a lot of avid canoeists on all 3 sites that will surely come up with some routes for ya.
